	Weddings

The Ceremony

The ceremony can take place on the brick terrace or in the grand ballroom (if inclement weather). Seating during the ceremony will be theater-style for all guests.

You ceremony fee includes a one hour rehearsal time (to be scheduled no earlier than four weeks prior to the event date), labor for set-up and breakdown and ½ hour ceremony time before the reception.
Wedding Coordinators are optional but benneficial.

Only immediate Bridal party will be permitted access to the facility no earlier than 1 ½ hours prior to the ceremony provided this does not interfere with prior functions. Guests will be seated no earlier than (30) minutes prior to the ceremony.

Alcohol is not permitted in The DeVore House during your rehearsal.

The Reception

Immediately following the ceremony, the reception will begin with the bar and buffet opening and hors d’oeurve being passed. Guests will be invited to enjoy the food and beverage. This will be a perfect time for the bride and groom to finish their photographs. There is usually a (15) minute time frame to change the room from theater style to the floor plan for your reception.
